Allegra Co-Authors Presentations at Society for Academic Emergency Medicine and American College of Emergency Physicians

John Allegra, PhD, MD, FACEP, Emergency Medical Associates physician, attending physician at Morristown (N.J.) Memorial Hospital, and president of the non-profit emergency medicine research foundation EMARF, recently co-authored a presentation titled “Do All Patients With Shoulder Dislocations Need Pre-reduction X-rays?,” which was given at the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine national meeting in Washington, D.C.

He also co-authored the presentation titled “Seasonality of Testicular Torsion” at the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) National Scientific Assembly in Chicago.

Dr. Allegra is active in the field of emergency medicine research and has authored and co-authored numerous papers, posters and oral presentations on topics pertaining in the field. In addition, Dr. Allegra is a frequent participant in medical missions.
