Amato to Lecture at American College of Emergency Physicians Symposium on Pediatric Emergency Medicine


Christopher S. Amato, MD, FAAP, FACEP, will be a featured lecturer at the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Puerto Rico Symposium on Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He will lecture on the topic “Toxicology: A Pediatric Approach.”

Dr. Amato is the director of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship and attending pediatric physician at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital at pMorristown (N.J.) Memorial Hospital. He is the medical director of Pediatric advanced life support for Atlantic Health, Morristown, N.J., and is chair of the Pediatric Section, of the National ACEP Committee.

Dr. Amato is a recognized researcher in the field of pediatric emergency medicine and is a frequent lecturer, both regionally and nationally, on pediatric emergency medicine topics. He has been voted by New Jersey parents as a “Favorite Kids Doc.”

Dr. Amato completed his Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Hasbro Children’s Hospital at Brown University School of Medicine and was the Pediatric Chief Resident at University of Maryland Medical Systems.
