Information:Job Summary: The Regional Sales Director is the Company’s external representative to both its current and prospective clients. Working in partnership with Proven Healthcare Solutions Management Team, the Regional Sales Director will develop and execute on a sales plan as part of the Company’s goal to secure and retain new business. The Regional Sales Director will collaborate with Proven Healthcare Solution’s Management Team to secure new business, provide client account management and contribute to overall new business development. Sales Development The territory for this position will be the East Coast. Responsible for managing the territory and meeting established revenue and profit goals. Tasks · Responsible for territory coverage · Meets or exceeds sales quota and total company market share in assigned territory · Develop relationships with hospital C-Suite leadership · Maintains up-to-date reporting in SalesForce® · Attend applicable tradeshows both regionally and nationally · Cold calling prospective clients and meeting identified sales call metrics · Participate in national and regional healthcare, professional organization meetings to be knowledgeable of the primary market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer acquisition strategies. Coordinate with other PHS SMT members to cooperatively share all information acquired from any meeting, conferences and seminars attended. · Participate in National and State professional associations to advocate and market the companies to the hospital community to identify sales opportunities and obtain information for competitive intelligence. · Make recommendations for participation in national, regional and state organizations which promote the reputation of the company and foster collaboration and sharing of the latest thinking for new products, processes and applications. · Develop and implement processes to seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities and identify action plan to approach and secure new contracts for the company. Administration Participate in sales and operational meetings at corporate locations, in order to successfully communicate information about sales activities, sales pipeline, trends and competitive analysis, and customer satisfaction. Tasks · Maintain an awareness of local competitive conditions, and impute competitive intelligence on all primary and secondary competition into a PHS database. · Maintain up to date information in Salesforce® database and produce ongoing pipeline reports. · Participate in trade shows. Attend meetings: · Attend PHS Management meetings at both Corporate and applicable off-site locations. · Report to PHS Senior Management Team on a regular basis basis, leads in progress, findings and recommended changes and improvements. Quality Participate in meetings and communications with PHS senior management team (SMT) to acquire knowledge about the Company’s quality and performance goals and initiatives as they pertain to sales, client support and client satisfaction. Tasks · Address customer complaints in accordance with PHS corporate policy and advise Director of Marketing and Chief Operating Officer of any situation beyond the scope of authority. · Participate in ongoing quality and environmental educational seminars. · Participate in educational training modules that support new sales and marketing activities offered to prospective clients. Contract Stability Identify and report client customer service opportunities to PHS SMT Team. Implement agreed upon solutions, both processes and systems, for the measurable success of PHS clients. Tasks · Meet with current clients on a scheduled basis to demonstrate a high level of customer service and cultivate and manage relationships with the Senior Management Team which can be utilized for references. · Report to PHS SMT, on a monthly basis, tasks in progress, findings, recommended changes and improvements. Profitability Participate with PHS Senior Management to develop and implement sales solutions and leading edge approaches to maximize profit and growth of the company Tasks · Meet the monthly and annual sales objectives for assigned territory. · Achieve pre-established goals for leads, deal pursuits, and contract close ratio. Special Projects ( 5%) Take on Special Projects as assigned by the PHS SMT related to sales initiatives. Tasks · Participate in special projects or programs at selected practice sites. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1. Has demonstrated ability to deliver significant growth in revenue and profit. 2. Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction. 3. Has demonstrated ability to win new accounts and take market share from competitors. 4. Exceptional track record of sales and marketing strategies that have consistently met and exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example. 5. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a results-driven, team oriented environment. 6. Is highly computer literate with experience in using sales software applications (i.e. sales database tracking) and PowerPoint. 7. Strong entrepreneurial skills and flair for thinking out of the box and thrives in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market. 8. Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. 9. Knowledge and experience in contracting and negotiating. 10. Experience in dealing with hospital C-Suite teams. 11. Demonstrated understanding of the broader healthcare market and specific knowledge of the Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist and practice management marketplace. 12. Has been involved with sales in the healthcare field on the hospital side selling billing and or practice management services. 13. Has the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations 14. Has strong negotiating and writing skills. 15. Must act with honesty and integrity EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE 1. College degree. 2. Extensive experience selling in the Healthcare Industry with a minimum of six years. 3. Minimum of five years in a senior sales position. 4. Has extensive and direct experience in networking with the C-suite of healthcare organizations at the hospital/system level or large medical practices. 5. Relationship with consulting companies that primarily work with healthcare organizations preferred. 6. Experience selling into group organizations. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Travel in the field to develop extensive knowledge of geographic market target area. 2. Travel to current and future client sites. 3. Travel with PHS SMT for visiting clients, training and education. 4. Willing to work flexible schedule including occasional weekend and/or evening work.
