| Information: | Alpha Physician Resources, a physician practice management company specializing in emergency medicine, is seeking Community Liaison.
This position will be the external representative for our client, Emergency Medical Associates (EMA), to the physician, EMS, nursing home/assisted living facility, and local and regional employer communities in each of our client hospital’s catchment area. Working in partnership with the Director of Same Store Sales Growth and SVP Sales and Marketing, the Community Liaison will execute on targeted outreach initiatives and metrics as part of the Company’s goal to secure and grow revenue via same store sales. The Community Liaison will collaborate with management to implement strategies and outreach efforts to build relationships with physicians, other health care leaders and local and regional employers within a defined territory to achieve service line growth objectives in a qualitative and quantitative manner.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: marketing the Emergency Department service line to a variety of community providers and employer stakeholders; identifying opportunities for service improvement; making daily site visits to enhance communication with physicians, EMS providers (ALS and BLS), nursing home and assisted living facility administrators and providers, and HR directors and management at local and regional employers; and responding to service delivery needs. Meeting performance targets is essential for the Liaison.
Experience in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Sales is desirable; Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English or related field; minimum of five years professional experience in a health care/sales environment; must be able to handle multiple projects and delegate duties as required; must demonstrate proficiency in computer database management; clinical or related healthcare experience required for product line roles; proficient in Windows-based computer programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
