William Dalsey, MD, FACEP, chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, N.J., and Vice President of Quality at Emergency Medical Associates, recently co-authored an article titled “The Lack of Consistent Diaspirin Crosslinked Hemoglobin Blood Pressure Effects in the US and EU Traumatic Hemorrhagic Shock Clinical Trials,” in the February issue of the United State Shock Society's journal "Shock."
Dr. Dalsey is a recognized lecturer on clinical, operational and patient satisfaction topics in emergency medicine and has served on numerous committees within the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties and National Quality Forum work groups on cost-of-care initiatives and pneumonia and congestive heart failure as part of the new National Priorities Partnership.
Dr. Dalsey was selected as one of three runners-up for the Blue Jay Consulting/American College of Emergency Medicine's Emergency Medicine Foundation’s 2010 “Emergency Department Director of the Year” award. he is the 2008 recipient of the “Caring For and About People Humanitarian Award” presented by Kimball Medical Center.
