EDIMS is an Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) and a wholly owned subsidiary of EMA. Developed over 20 years ago for use by EMA physicians, it has grown to be a preeminent EDIS with comprehensive ED tracking, documentation, charge capture and clinical decision support.
From triage through disposition, EDIMS workflow documentation creates an accurate and complete electronic medical record (EMR), enabling dramatic improvements in operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, charge capture, and risk management, so providers get paid for the care they deliver. EDIMS also includes 750 medical best-practice templates and over 250 order sets, to further support clinician productivity and improved patient outcomes. EDIMS cares for emergency departments so they can care for patients.
