Eric Bachenheimer

Eric Bachenheimer, Director of Client Solutions, joined EMA in 2004 and oversees the ED Solutions team which advises and assists clients with achieving operational efficiencies, process redesign, enhancing patient satisfaction, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Eric has spent over 10 years in hospital operations of large academic medical centers. He was the Administrative Director of the Emergency Department at NYU Medical Center in New York City, NY and has held several other positions at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City as well as Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

   
 

Eric received a Master of Health Services Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Eric is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician and has worked in EMS for nearly 15 years.

He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and received the Big Apple 2004 Regent's Young Healthcare Executive Award. He was awarded the Best Case Study from the ACHE in 2005 and has written articles and spoken to national audiences on the topic of emergency department operations, best practices and customer satisfaction.  Some of his articles have been published in leading industry journals, such as Healthcare Executive, ED Management, HealthLeaders and Emergency Physician Monthly.  Eric has been a featured speaker, presenter and panelist at numerous national conferences and is an active member of the American Association of Healthcare Consultants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. bachenheimere@alpha-apr.com
