Founded in 1973, Hackettstown Regional Medical Center (HRMC) provides acute care, diagnostic, surgical and outpatient services to residents of Warren, Morris, Sussex and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey.  HRMC is located in northwest New Jersey, approximately 60 miles west of New York City and 90 miles north of Philadelphia. 

The main campus of HRMC is located in the heart of Hackettstown and is situated on a 15-acre parcel of the larger 40-acre medical campus owned by HRMC. Over the years, the medical center has developed a strong presence in the area it encompasses and has become well known for its full range of services.

The breadth of services provided under HRMC’s umbrella include emergency care, surgical services, cardiology/pulmonary services, childbirth family center, cancer treatment center, center for healthier living, advanced diagnostic imaging and counseling and addiction services.

Hackettstown Regional Medical Center is a national accredited sleep disorder center, therapy center (including therapy for children), total joint replacement center, wound care center and offers vascular services.

The Emergency Department at HRMC is open 24/7 and includes 11 private rooms, one semi-private room and a trauma room for cardiac and stroke patients. Approximately 22,000 Emergency Department patients are treated annually. A Fast Track is available for non-critical, walk-in patients.

Hackettstown Regional Medical Center has been recognized by The Joint Commission as a “Top Performer on Key Quality Measures” for two consecutive years and its Primary Stroke Center and Total Joint Replacement Center are accredited by The Joint Commission.
