Martin Lectures at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium

James Martin, MD, FACEP, presented “Professional Development for Military Career Officers” and participated in a panel discussion at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) Emergency Medical Exercise (EMX) Program.

The EMX is the capstone training event for the SAUSHEC Emergency Residency Training Program. It is a requirement for all graduating residents (Army and Air Force) to successfully complete this event prior to matriculating from residency and leaving for their first assignments.

The event took place at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, on June 11, 2012.

Dr. Martin is an attending emergency physician at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, N.J. Dr. Martin most recently served as a general medical officer in the United States Army Reserve and was an emergency physician with the Special Operations Command (SOCOM).  He is the recipient of two Bronze Star Medal and a Meritorious Service Medal.
