Raymond Iannaccone, MD, FACEP

Raymond Iannaccone, MD, president and chief executive officer, has been with Emergency Medical Associates (EMA) since 2003. He joined the company as the Emergency Department Director at Hudson Valley Hospital Center and served on the company's Board of Directors from 2003 to 2006. 

Dr. Iannaccone served as Executive Vice President from 2006 to 2008, and was selected as President and CEO in 2008. He has led a significant expansion of services and infrastructure development based on a board-approved strategic plan. He has developed other critical service lines, revenue cycle management, practice management standards, information technology initiatives, malpractice solutions and innovative solutions to help address client hospitals' business challenges.   

     
 

Prior to joining EMA, Dr. Iannaccone was assistant professor for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y.; president of Bi3 Net, Inc., a computer applications company; and served as research director at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y.

Dr. Iannaccone received his undergraduate degree at St. John's University, Jamaica, N.Y., and his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Portsmouth (Va.) Naval Hospital, during which he received specialized training in diving, hyperbaric and submarine medicine at the Naval Undersea Medical Institute, Groton, Conn. He completed the emergency medicine residency at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a professional society member of the New York Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians.  iannacconer@emamd.com
